Hello Quincy! I’m Anthony Andronico and am currently serving my 1st term as a Member of the School Committee in my hometown of Quincy, Massachusetts. My family has lived here for over 4 generations and we’ve lived in Houghs Neck, Squantum, Quincy Point, and Wollaston, to name just a few of the neighborhoods. I grew up in Wollaston and attended Wollaston Elementary School, Central Middle School, and North Quincy High School.
After High School, I attended Emmanuel College where I studied American Government and Economics. After college I worked for a company that forged partnerships across industry, academia, and government to address issues in education and financial services. Specifically, in education, we partnered with gateway cities to close the achievement and opportunity gap. We did this by increasing AP participation, bolstering organizational structures and streamlining processes, and partnering with the community. Since then I’ve been working for a business technology research and advisory firm providing best practices to businesses.
Now that I have had a few years to reflect on my time in Quincy Public Schools, I am looking forward to being a part of building and improving the school system for the city that I love.
All the best,
